This is the view of the court from the last row of the balcony in Assembly Hall at Indiana University in Bloomington -- the so called nosebleed seats - about 30 minutes before game time. It's a unique experience to sit up there with your back against the outside wall of Assembly hall and have the concave roof slope down in front of you as you watch a game with 17,000 of your closest friends. The crowd knows basketball and get behind their Hoosiers. It's

a good cardio workout climbing the steps, and on the way down you wonder why a parachute was not issued with your ticket. For those who are college men's basketball officiators, in 1985 Coach Bobby Knight through a chair across the right end of this court (to a little old lady who was standing, according to Knight) about 5 minutes into a basketball game against Purdue following a referee's call that Knight did not like. It was one of the early crazy actions taken by Knight that eventually led to his dismissal.
