Sunset / Moonrise

It is not uncommon to concurrently see the sun and moon in the sky. After all, moonlight is reflected sunlight. These two photos are, in my opinion, of an unusual and beautiful sunset and moonrise taken within minutes of each other with an iPhone 6 from Beaver Stadium (Penn State University) after a football game. Though overcast, the sky was blue from above the sunset to the opposite horizon. The sun and moon were aligned roughly 180 degrees apart, but the cloud cover did not reveal whether the moon was full. Also in the second photo, Mt. Nittany, the namesake of the Penn State Nittany Lions, is on the left horizon and Tussey Mountain on the farther right horizon.
