PO Softball

The Philipsburg Osceola Girls High School Softball Team won the PIAA Division AAA Championship this afternoon. They beat Holly Redeemer High School’s team 8 to 3 at Penn State’s Beard Field. Both teams had similar records: PO at 21 and 1 and HR at 20 and 2. HR was noted for their pitcher's strike-put stats and PO for the team's hitting. Today, the stats favored PO in both areas, as did the score. This was the third state softball championships for PO in the last 11 years – 2007, 2011 and 2018.
