Bellefonte. was settled in the 1790s around a natural spring that yields millions of gallons of water per day. It soon became an influential town between Harrisburg and Pittsburgh. It is the county seat of Centre Co. and well known for the number of PA governors it produced and its Victorian buildings and homes.

Cruising around the courthouse and through the streets was stopped by ordinance in 1979. Over the past three decades the one exception has been the Bellefonte Cruise, a local festival - classic car show, entertainment (e.g., Beach Boys Tribute Band, folk music) and street food - held the weekend of Father’s Day. This year’s 30th anniversary Cruise was bigger and better than ever. The following is a sample of the classic and antique cars on display.
