Signs of Winter

After a very wet Summer and a warm and wet early Fall, this is a sign that Winter has arrived, whether or not it is official according to the calendar. Ginger will covet this spot in front of the family room heating stove through early Spring. (The eight inches of snow that fell across yesterday and last night, is also a good indicator of Winter.)
