A Stark Picture

In "How Extreme Weather is Shrinking the Planet," an article that appears in the November 26, 2018 issues of The New Yorker, Bill McKibben paints a stark picture of a planet on which the inhabitable area is being significant diminished by the effects of man-made global atmospheric change through destabilizing extreme weather events. The picture is so disturbing an infamous computer "gray screen" seems appropriate as the photo. You can read McKibben's article at:
