In 2017, on a trip to San Francisco, we ran across a motorcyclist on Fishman’s Wharf who immediately reminded me of a landmark film from 1968. What film comes to your mind?

For me, it was Easy Rider, the quintessential counter culture file from 1968 that starred Peter Fonda, Dennis Hopper, and Jack Nicholson. Of course, I asked permission before taking the photo. There was no posing – what you see is how he sat.
