Anole Lizard

According the Wikipedia, lizards in the genus Anolis, "...are some of the best examples of both adaptive radiation and convergent evolution...." There are over 425 difference species <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anolis>. This specimen is likely a Carolina (or "green") anole (Anolis carolinensis) common to the southeast US given the photo was taken at Atlantic Beach, NC in 2011.
