Rising Tide

These photos of College Creek in Williamsburg, VA were taken on a mid-December morning from College Landing, a small park south of the town. They span a period from about 20 minutes prior to sunrise to about an hour afterwards as the tide was rising. I particularly attempted to capture the reddish hues form the sun rise reflected in the water and wet mud surfaces, the texture and shape of the ice on the water’s surface, and the silver frost on the reeds in the mud flat after sunrise.
