Standing in Mud? - Part 2

The tile floor was layer on top of the hardened leveler using thin-set mortar. The blue tape marks tiles we replaced to improve spacing. The entire floor was sealed after the thin-set hardened. Below, grout is worked into the tile joints using a hard rubber float. The excess grout was removed using the float and wet sponges rung almost dry. After the grout dried, the floor was cleaned and sealed again.

The 1999 floor have radiant heat. We elected for install a German built space heater designed for bathrooms. The original cast iron toilet flange (tilted and below the new floor level) was leveled and raised using a Set-Rite kit before the new toilet was set.

Whoops, there is a very small and slow leak. We removed the shower panel covering the water control, identified the sources and reworked/re-soldered the connections.
