Success!

On the last day of our time within Denali National Park we joined the 10% of visitors who get a clear/unobstructed view of the north side of the Mt. Denali (and an adjacent segment of the Alaska Range). The following photos were taken from the Wonder Lake area, which is about 22 miles from the mountain (at mile post 89 on the Park Road, which is 92.5 miles long).

The next morning, as the Kantishna Roadhouse bus took us past Wonder Lake on the drive out of the park, a wisp of clouds was sliding past Mt. Denali in the early morning light. In response to the question in the comments section, the time was about 5:30AM.
