Upper, Lower and More

The Yomesite National Park is literally "awash" with high waterfalls. The namesake falls, Yosemite Falls, is the highest waterfall in the valley. From top to bottom water out of the Sierra Mountains falls 2,425 feet. The upper and lower falls are clearly visible from the floor of Yosemite Valley. In between is a series of smaller (a relative term) drops, as can be seen from Glacial Point on the opposite side of the valley.

The base of the lower falls is not only a wet experience, but a roar of the falling water is impressive.
