Sunset Colors

Sunset is a favorite time for landscape photographers given the setting Sun provides chancing tone at the red end of the spectrum. The above and the following photo taken from the south rim of the Grand Canyon at last light clearly shows the changing color effects at sunset time.

Colors throughout the canyon constantly change over the course of a day, but those changes can be most dramatic at sunset, as per the following example similar views. First, at about 15 minutes before sunset:

Then about 5 minutes before sunset:
