State College has experienced another warm winter. The National Weather Bureau expects it to be among warmest winters on record. The current top five warmest winters were: 1934-35, 2001-02, 1997-98, 1948-49, and 2011-12.

On March 8th the afternoon temperature rose into the high 60s. It was a great day for a walk. At the Duck Pond on campus, we found two ducks, four turtles and the a school of carp soaking up the sun's warmth.
