Surprise: He's Back
I thought I recognized the fellow completing a form at the desk of the health club. Yes, it was Cedo from Coaitia.
I met Cedo in the summer 2017 when he was visiting his daughter, son-in-law and grandson. At the time his daughter was a doctoral student at Penn State and son-in-law a researcher at the Applied Research Lab (ARL). He joined our rail-trail biking group for a number of rides that summer (Cedo is at the left in the photo below).

Cedo's plan was to visit his son's family in Poland during summer 2018 and return to State College in 2019, but a hip-replacement delayed his return. In the meantime his daughter completed her doctorate and has a position at ARL, and his grandson is now five years old. Hopefully, the weather will continue to warm and we can get in a couple of rail-trail rides (of course, maintaining the COVID-19 spacing).
