High Sierra Dive

The above photo was taken looking west on an April morning a few years ago from the side of a mountain on CA Rt 41, at a point just prior to the road descending into Yosemite Valley. Though sunny at 6,000 ft, the clouds hung low in and traced the Merced River in the valley 2,000 ft below.
