Birch Aquarium

The Birch Aquarium at the University of California San Diego is a public outreach arm of the Scripps Institution of Oceanography (which is located behind the Institute on the Pacific Ocean). Over 3,000 examples of salt water aquatic life are on display. We found the whale sculptures outside the entrance (above) and the displays inside of sea horses, coral and other sea life, fascinating.
