Not Seen Before

Funny what you fail to notice over 35 years as you walk through the hussel and bussel of campus. But remove the thousands of students, faculty, staff, service employees, cars, truck, buses...and some very interesting things pop out. A case in point are the size, shape, coloring and texture of tree trunks that we recently noticed as we walked through campus during the COVID-19 distance yourself period. Yes, the trunks of trees. The University Park campus is like an arboretum, planted with a wide variety of trees, shrubs and flowers. The following are some unique examples of tree trunks:
