The Lake (9/10/20)

These photos are from a late July hike we took around Lake Perez at Penn State's 72 acre Stone Valley recreation area located in the Rothrock State Forest about 10 miles south of State College. Before we sold our kayaks, Lake Perez was our favorite places to flat-water kayak and literally take a hike afterwards. These photos show why.

On the day we were there, all rentals were closed and the parking lots were empty due to Penn State's Summer COVID-19 shutdown, so we had the recreation area to ourselves (not counting a few grounds keepers).
