Planters (9/20/20)

Hats off to the grounds crew at Penn State for the gigantic planters around campus. The following collection are at the entrance to the US 322 pedestrian overpass that is built into the Information Sciences and Technology (IST) Building. Not only are they very attractive, but they also deter undergraduates who have had "one too many" from attempting to drive across the pedestrian overpass.

The following planters grace the front entrance to the HUB (Hetzel Union Building).

The following photos were taken about a week later than those above on a cloudy day at the Nittany Lion Inn. Still, the beauty of the 8 ft high planter and the others by the door shine through.
