A Cat's Work is Never Done 11/26/22

Since joining our family in April 2020, Obie has taken on a number of responsibilities around of house, and done so with great dedication. These include keeping Sue's chairs warm;

As well as her lap when she occupies it.

Whenever our son-in-law visits, Obie makes sure Troy practices his petting and brushing skills.

"Oh, that's a good spot!"

He lets us know when windows need to be opened wider - especially the one over his window perch.

"My fur is naturally SPF 50, so bring on the sun."

He coaches Sue at yoga, thought it seems to be a little boring to him. "This is the real cat pose."

But, he really enjoys helping to make the bed each morning...

...and checking the bed on laundry day for missing cat toys. "I think I found that missing toy mouse."

"I knew that mouse was missing from my toy tent."

Keeping track of the chipmunks, squirrels, rabbits, and the occasional bird that wonders onto the back terrace is one of his favorite responsibilities.

Entertaining visitors also is important to Obie.

And after a long day of work, there is nothing like a good dinner followed by a nap.
