Active Campus 5/5/21

Last weekend was the bridge between the end of spring semester and exam week. The great weather and activity options on Saturday brought more students than we have seen on any other day during the semester out of the dorms. On our walk through campus we saw an NCAA Women's Field Hockey Tournament game; Penn State Women's Softball game; ROTC units drilling; a student march against racism; long lines at the creamery for cones and for photos at the Nittany Lion Shrine, Old Main Steps and the Alumni gardens before graduation; students out for a walks, runs, or biking; a mass aerobic class on the tennis courts near the east-side recreation building;...and students visiting and studying for exams in the sun, shade and under tents set up by the University around campus to provide additional social distanced space.
