Craving Attention 5/14/22

Our cat Obie craves attention, and especially brushing and petting. At least three times a day, definitely after being fed, he positions himself near my chair and his brush giving that certain look - "the signal " - that he wants to be brushed and petted.

Visitors also are targets. He rubs up against their legs until they reach down at which point Obie is in charge. Nagwa has been a target as per the above photo from my 1/22/22 Blog Entry, as has our son-in-law Troy as per the photos below.

Obie's second most popular activity is "helping" Sue make the bed. His goal is to get buried in the bedding, disrupt the process and become the focus of attention.
