Cute 10/8/22

One of my favorite things to do in the late winter/early spring is to stop at Tractor Supply to see the “peeps” – newly hatched chicks. A few years ago, Rural King took up shop in area mall location that Sears abandoned as it began its corporate down-sizing. Rural King seems to have chicks all year round, possibly in response to local ordinance changes that allow "urban chickens" (but no roosters). In any case, the fuzzy peeps definitely are cute – up to when they begin to develop feathers at about the four week point - in my opinion.
