Lap-Time 7/24/21

I cannot remember a time over the past 52 years when we did not have at least one pet cat (over many periods two or three). Obie is the cat we adopted in May 2019 after his predecessor passed from intestinal cancer at 13 years of age. He is our first tomcat. At three, Obie was relatively set in his ways and was insistent about them. For example, he did not like being picked up or sitting on laps. On the other hand, some evening lap-time was an expectation for Sue. We gave him time to adjust and fourteen months later Obie and Sue enjoy evening lap-time, as long as he gets to jump up into the chair with Sue - he still does not like to be picked-up.
