Let It Snow 12/17/20

The average annual snowfall in State College between 1980 and 2019 is 43.8 inches. 2019 was unusual when only 13 inches of snow fell. Winter 2020-21 started out with a bang. Overnight, a "nor-easter" dropped 20 inches of snow on our neighborhood. The "official" amount (measured at the airport) was 14 inches. Irrespective of the exact depth, the snowfall created beautiful winter scenes across the area.
