Making A Puzzle Piece 12/10/21
A few years ago, our daughter asked me to frame four large puzzle she wanted to hang in her family room. One was missing a piece. The challenge of making a replacement added a challenge to the project.

Step 1: trace the opening onto a scrap piece of foam board that was the same thickness as the puzzle;

Step 2: Cut out the replacement piece with a razor knife;

Step 3: find a color in a collection of acrylic paints I had on my workshop shelf; Got it!

Unless you looked closely at the finished framed puzzle, the replacement piece blended in very well.
