Wednesday Reprint 9/21/22
By mid-summer the back-water and other shallower areas in Black Moshannon Lake, which is located in the central PA state park by the same name, is covered with water lilies. While kayaking along the edge of that area, I found this lily with a bumble bee inside. The bee was likely in the flower to collect nectar, while unknowingly spreading pollen.
